DR. DAN THIEME

Dr. Thieme graduated from Brigham Young University in 1990, and completed optometry school at the University of California, Berkeley in 1994. He opened Meridian Family Eyecare in 1995, and moved the practice to the present location in 2009.

Dr. Thieme enjoys all aspects of eye care including eye exams for glasses and contact lenses, along with eye health care for glaucoma, diabetic eye care, macular degeneration, and surgical care of cataract and LASIK patients. His whole-body approach to eye disease and systemic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol, and auto-immune diseases) is a focus in his work.

Dr. Thieme lives in Meridian with his wife, Iris and their children. He loves boating, fishing, hiking and all outdoor activities.
